Streetwear is a style that has roots in all corners of the world, from the hip hop scene in NYC in the 90's, the skate and graffiti culture in LA to the vibrant nightlife in Japan. A style which resonates with the urban youth of major cities, streetwear has became one of the most popular types of style in the modern day. Below is a link to one of the many streetwear pioneers. PART 1: CREATE 

It has never been easier to produce than it is today; technology and the internet have made opportunity available to everyone. You may start and grow your brand from your bedroom. However, with so many opportunities available, the streetwear and fashion markets have never been more competitive. I will elaborate on this in Part 3. Every brand requires three things. A logo, an internet presence, and, most importantly, a narrative. Social media is essential for success; I recommend apps like Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and Pinterest because they all provide insights that can be used to sell your brand. People buy people, not products. Establishing your brand's USP and story is critical, especially in a highly competitive market. Without the three things mentioned, your designs are meaningless; what is the difference between a £5 white tee and a £100 white tee? the story/brand. Reputation is everything in streetwear.
