PART 2: THE BORING STUFF

 PART 2:

The ones who tend to be successful are good at doing the boring stuff consistently, this apply's to creating a brand. once you have established the three key pillars that were spoken about on PART 1 the next step is to take action and do the boring stuff. The video below is a useful tool for anyone who is serious about starting their brand.

Starting a clothing brand is not a get rich quick scheme that some may think it is, (i thought like this). To be successful in this endeavour you need to care for what you do/have passion as there will be many bumps in the road. Problems arise that you would never think of. This part is not to deter you but more so to prepare and allow you to reflect if you really want to do this as it is hard but rewarding.

SUMMARY:

the three key things needed for this part to evolve your brand:

  1. time
  2. resilience
  3. consistency
Time is key, lets be real your first designs will probably be shit. so will your second, but third ? this is why you need time. Time to learn how to create your designs, time to make mistakes and time to establish your brand identity. With that being said resilience and consistency are also both needed for this part. All three of these qualities work in unison and without one the others will fail.

Part 3 will talk on the competition which there is a lot of, how you tackle it though is up to you. I will give some advice on what i would do and why I would do it.
